2012 Rose Parade Flower Tent/Float Decorating

If this is your first time decorating a Tournament of Roses Parade Float, you will experience long hours and hard work, but take home wonderful memories. If this is a return experience, you already know about the exhilaration you feel as the float you helped create proudly turns the corner onto Colorado Blvd. Volunteering to work in the flower tents or to decorate a Tournament of Roses float is very exciting, but it requires long hours and tedious, repeated, detailed work. Phoenix Decorating invites members (youth and adults) of the Orange County Council, Boy Scouts of America to serve as volunteers for 2012 float building. Phoenix Decorating is the company that designed and built the 2010 BSA Tournament of Roses Parade float and they have extended this invitation as a follow-up to the hard work and dedication that OCBSA youth and volunteers showed during that process. We are looking for scouts, scouters, scout family and friend who are 10 years of age or older to volunteer. Our OCBSA Volunteer Decorating Coordinators look forward to working with you on these amazing projects!
