Camp Emerson Service Project

What better way to spend the weekend and escape the heat then up at beautiful Camp Emerson. Crew 11 Service Project at Camp Emerson coordinated by Wood Badger, Sandra Cooley. Sanding and re-painting the picnic tables by the lodge.

Thank you, Carolyn Stanley, Crew Adviser

Crew 641 Skates up some Fun!

Crew 641 went to Skate Express on Sunday. They all had a great time including several advisors that skated as well. Most crew members tried both inline and traditional "quad" skates. We had fun with several potential new members. Some of the crew members, siblings, and advisors had never skated before and we're feeling much more comfortable towards the end of the night. Crew 641 is growing. They have several exciting events coming up including their upcoming "Beach"campout at Fiesta Island.

Troop 720 “Lives the Adventure” while Riding the Path and the Surf !

Troop 720 took advantage of the beautiful weekend in Southern California and held its inaugural 25 mile “Sunshine to the Seashore Bike Ride to Huntington Beach”. Over 60 Scouts, friends and family members participated. The event lasted from the break of dawn in the IE to the sunset over the crystal waters. Beginning at sunrise, our Scouts traveled the 25 mile trail to an awaiting barbecue feast that our hungry riders took advantage of. With the waves rockin’ a 5’-7’ the body surfing and boogie boarding was spectacular. What a great way to enjoy the blue skies and cool weather.

A Parents Prayer

Thank You for my children, Lord; I know they are a gift from you.

Daily I need Your strength and wisdom to train them in the way they should go.

Give me patience and a joyful heart; let me be an example of Your love and forgiveness.

Thank You, Father, for the honor of being a parent.
