 Welcome to our July 16th, 2012 Monday Memo Endless Maze Many of the council’s professional and volunteer scouters have many talenets and skills beyond those directly related to scouting. Mike McCarty (ex Grayback paraprofessional and now Sunrise District Executive) and Keith Haigh, ex-scoutmaster from Troop 4 in Grayback are two members of the band Endless Maze. Endless Maze performed for the enjoyment of those at Sylvan Park in Redlands for the July 4th celebration. Endless Maze performs music from the 60s through todays current music which includes anything from dance songs, country, easy listening to the top 40 rock-n-roll hits. The members of Endless Maze are: Mike McCarty (lead vocals and guitars), Tony Butler and Matt Bottenberg (guitars, keyboards and backup vocals), Keith Haigh (bass), and Ken Doughton (drums and backup vocals). Keep an eye peeled, you might find them playing a local venue near you. Lookin' For Something to Do This Summer? Camp Emerson is looking for a few enthusiastic, energetic, and motivated Scouts to serve as counselors in training for Camp Emerson Boy Scout Summer Camp and Camp Wiley Cub Scout Camp. Positions are available now through August 5th. Counselors in training improve their leadership skills, make new friends and learn valuable job skills.
