The International Events Division of the BSA has advised that it had expected registration for the 2015 World Scout Jamboree (WSJ) to be 'live' by September 1, 2012 but has had to delay the “live” date. More information will be posted at www.scouting.org/worldjamboree and on the CIEC International Scouting Home page (http://www.bsa-ciec.org/activities/international-scouting-home-page/45349) in the near future. The International Division is waiting for the exact birth date ranges and pricing from the Scout Association of Japan as well as potential tour pricing for the BSA contingent. The BSA cannot “go live” with registration until it has this information.
As several CIEC Scouts and Scouters have already started expressing interest i beig part of the BSA contingent to the 2015 WSJ in Japan, it will be important for any interested Scout or Scouter to submit letters/emails of their expressions of interest to the CIEC-ISC ASAP. Such submittals may be made to the CIEC ISC IR/CIEC ISC Chair Mike Goldware (magoldware@aol.com). Such submittals should include the Scout's/Scouter's full name, mailing address info, all contact info including telephone and email address, and a Scouting bio/resume.
